The Institute for Economic Research (IFO Institute) in Munich indicated on Monday morning that German auto exports fell recently to their lowest levels since March 2009.

This comes at a time when Germany was forced to close many factories and businesses due to the coronavirus in the country. It is currently the fourth most affected country on the world, with a total of more than 100k cases and deaths exceeding 1500 people.
