French economy expected to shrink by 6%

The Bank of France expects the French economy to suffer significantly in the first quarter of the year with GDP estimated to drop by 6% given that approximately 32% of the country's economic activity has been stopped by government. It is also anticipated that the economy will continue to contract throughout the current year by about 1.5%.
