Williams: Raising interest three times seems logical

The Fed should raise interest rates at least three times in 2018, especially after the strong growth in the US economy over the last period other than the positive impact of tax cuts on the economy," said US Federal Reserve member John Williams recently.

The US Federal Reserve chairman in San Francisco noted that the US economy is on the brink of full capacity over the next few years. Unemployment is expected to fall to 3.7% by the end of 2018.

During his meeting, Williams pointed out that the US economy is making significant progress and that it is expected that the interest rate will be raised gradually over the coming period. He said he was not worried about slowing inflation growth and that raising rates three times was logical for him.
