US imports and exports rose in April, with import prices rose by 0.3% against expectations of a 0.5% gain after falling by 0.2% in March.
On a yearly basis, import prices rose by 3.3% in April, while March rose by 3.6%.
On the other hand, export prices rose by 0.6% on monthly basis in April, better than expectations of 0.3%, following a 0.3% rise in March. On an annualized basis, export prices rose by 3.8% in April after rising by 3.4% in March.
