UK economy to grow by 0.4% in Q3

The latest Bloomberg poll of economists showed that UK GDP is expected to rise by 0.4% in the third quarter and fourth quarter of this year against a previous forecast of 0.3%.

Consumer prices are expected to rise by 2.4% in the third quarter (previous forecasts at 2.5%) and in the fourth quarter by 2.2% (prior forecasts 2.2%(.

Overall, GDP is likely to rise 1.3% on yearly basis and by 1.5% next year. As for Bank of England policies, the Bank may raise interest rates twice in 2019.
