The SECO expects Switzerland's GDP to grow by 2.4% in 2018 from a previous forecast of 2.3%. The latest economic outlook was as follows:
- 2019 GDP seen at 2.0%, prior forecast 1.9%
- Consumer prices are expected to rise by 0.6% this year against the previous forecast of 0.3%.
- Inflation expectations for next year were kept at 0.7%.
