Spanish Economy Minister: Spain to grow 3% if Catalan situation resolved

Spain's economy will grow by 3% this year if the current political crisis resulting from the independence of Catalonia is resolved, Spanish Economy Minister Luis de Guindos said. The official forecast for economic growth in 2018 is 2.3%, after growing by 3.1% in 2017.

De Guindos said he expected growth in the first quarter of 2018 to be similar to the last quarter of 2017 when the economy grew by 0.7%.
