Reuters poll show that the RBA will leave monetary policy unchanged at next week meeting, economists forecasts was as following:
- 47/48 economists forecasted RBA to hold cash rates steady.
- 44/48 economists forecast rates to remain steady till June.
- 3 economists expect a hike before then and 1 expects that RBA to cut rates.
- 23/45 economists forecast one hike by December.
- Median economists see that RBA's cash rate at 2% by June 2019.
