Japanese Manufacturing activity rebounds in October

Japan's manufacturing activity expanded at its fastest rate in four months in October as new export orders returned to growth, according to a survey of business today, indicating that the economy is showing some flexibility under global trade disputes.

The final reading of the Purchasing Managers' Index came at 52.9 points in October, lower than the flash reading of 53.1 points, but higher than the 52.5 in September. The index remained above 50-point level, which indicates to expanding for a 26-month consecutive and reached the highest level since June.
