Eurozone inflation figures rose less-than-expected in March, as food prices rose less than expected. Today's inflation figures point to the ECB's difficulty in pushing inflation near its target of below 2%.

The consumer price index rose by 1.3% in March from the same period last year, compared to expectations of a rise by 1.4%. Excluding energy and food prices, prices rose by 1 percent on yearly basis.
