German bond yields began to fall again, following increased demand after the stock market turmoil. 5-year bond yields fell below 0% to the negative territory again, after hitting a 0.10% high in February.
At the same time, 10-year bond yields reached a five-week low of 0.61%. The decline in the DAX index has contributed significantly to the move in the bond market, with the index so far down by 1.63% during trading today to a six-month low.
