Feds Williams: US economy improving broadly across sectors

US Federal Reserve member John Williams said the economy is improving broadly widely across sectors. Some of comments were as follows:

  • The performance of the global economy is good and improving significantly.
  • Financial conditions generally continue to support growth.
  • To keep the economy going we mustn't let the economy overheat.
  • The labor market seems strong.
  • There is some improvement in the pace of wage growth.
  • The Feds guidance calls for gradual rate hikes.
  • It may be reassessing policy if inflation came out stronger.
  • Tax cuts will have a moderate economic growth impact over the next several years.
  • Bitcoin cannot be considered a national currency.
  • China faces many challenges of debt accumulation.
