European stocks were largely flat at the beginning of weekly trading, with investors cautious about global economic developments and implications for central bank moves. The British FTSE is close to 7775.00 and the French CAC40 at 5506.91.
On the other hand, the German DAX fell by 0.2%, the STOXX 600 Composite rose by 0.14%, Italy's FTMIB rose by 0.12% and Spain's IBEX gained 0.10%.
