Eurozone inflation growth slowed in December

Data from The European Union’s statistics office Eurostat showed that inflation slowed last December, that consumer prices rising YOY 1.4% down from 1.5% in November. Inflation rose by 0.4% MOM.

Of all components, energy prices rose the most at 2.9 percent year-on-year in December, while unprocessed food gained 1.9 percent. Without these volatile components, Core CPI raised by 1.1% the same in November.
