The European Central Bank (ECB) expects the Euro Zone economy growth to continue, according to the Bank's economic bulletin today. These expectations are in line with outlook unveiled following the last monetary policy meeting in January.

The bank expects growth to continue in the near term and that strong momentum may lead to more positive surprises in the near term. "The downside risks remain mainly linked to global factors, including developments in the foreign exchange market," the bank said.
