European Central Bank member Benoit Coeure said interest rates would not rise before the bond purchase program is completed. His most prominent comments were as follows:
- All members of the European Central Bank agreed on the need to gradually exit expansionary policies.
- The bank will discuss the policy tone in early 2018.
- I do not see any need to worry about the recession that is dominating the markets
