China's commerce ministry: Confident of achieving trade targets

Despite the challenges facing China's trade activity especially after Trump's intentions to apply protectionist policies and increase tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum, the Ministry of Commerce is trying to calm the fears of the markets through some recent comments, which came as follows:

  • Confident of achieving trade targets this year.
  • Trade activity is expected to improve amid stable developments.
  • China's foreign trade during 2017 was the largest in the world.
