The US-led trade war is the biggest killer of confidence for the world economy, the Chinese Foreign Ministry warned today, adding that the world will continue to resist if the United States continues to be willful. The spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the United States was fabricating the justifications for its trade procedures.
The United States and China have imposed tariffs on their respective imports worth 34 billion dollars in an escalating trade conflict that could hurt the global economy. US President Donald Trump threatened to impose other tariffs unless Beijing agreed to change intellectual property practices.
The official spokesman added that the US trade war is not only with China but with the rest of the world.
