Bank of England Governor Mark Carney said over the weekend that British banks could deal with the Brexit and trade war at the same time. He stated the following:
- There are many risks facing the economy represented in the Brexit file.
- The Bank of England is focusing on the worst cases that the economy may face
- Stress tests are severe but reasonable
