Crude oil prices have stabilized near highest levels in almost two and a half years, with relatively strong market forecasts for the new year, although the resumption of gradual flows through the North Sea Fortis pipeline has stopped the price hikes.

US crude oil prices hit their highest level since June 21, 2015 at 59.98 dollars a barrel, while Brent crude prices have reached their highest level since June 7, 2015 at 66.51 dollars per barrel.

Prices rose sharply yesterday after the explosion of a Libyan oil pipeline, Libya to inspect about 90 thousand barrels per day of oil supplies, while the return of the Fortis pipeline again the capacity of about 450 thousand barrels per day to pay prices to stabilize now.
