The eurozone consumer price index rose 1.5% on yearly basis in November, from 1.4% in October and it was 0.6% in November 2016. In the EU, the index rose by 1.8% in November from 1.7% in October.
Inflation in the eurozone remains below the target set by the ECB. The core CPI, which excludes fuel and food prices, rose by 0.9% in November as the previous month.
