Trading Guide

We are eager to help you become a successful trader with Equiti. That’s why we have developed this step-by-step trading guide that will provide you with the knowledge and information you need to start trading.

Step 1 – Practise with a Demo account

Before you start trading live, it can be helpful to familiarise yourself with the trading platform as well as test out your strategies. With a Demo account, you can practise in a real trading environment without risking your own money.

With a MetaTrader 4 (MT4) Demo account, you can also apply your risk management strategies.

Step 2 – Understand the forex market

It’s important to have a broad knowledge of the forex market, how it works and what can affect it. We have a range of tools that can help you learn about forex trading.

Step 3 – Open a Live account

Once you learn more about the MT4 platform and feel confident in your trading, you can open a Live account.

You will then have access to our comprehensive offering including all of the research and charting tools.

Step 4 – Start trading

Once you feel confident to start trading on a Live account, you will be able to put everything you have learnt into practice.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Client Services team.

Expert Advisors

In today’s fast-paced markets, it’s become difficult to execute more complex strategies manually, especially if you‘re not a full-time trader. Expert Advisors (EAs) allow you to trade 24/5 emotion-free and without the need to monitor every move in the markets.

You can apply your EAs on two platforms

With Equiti you can implement your EA strategies on the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) . Most people choose to implement their EA strategies on MT4 because the platform is user-friendly, flexible and innovative.

We have no restrictions on EAs

With Equiti you won’t have any restrictions on EAs, so simply apply your EA whenever you want. If you’re not yet happy with your EA, you have the flexibility to backtest and optimise it further on MT4.
